SENA Tree Fund
In April of 2025, the City of West Palm Beach Commission approved an expenditure of $90,000 to plant 100 new trees along S. Olive in the Southend. This was an item requested and advocated for by SENA after residents requested this neighborhood improvement during the 2024 SENA Survey. Thank you to Commissioner Lambert and city employee Penny Redford who helped with the process.
HELP US CARE FOR THE TREES
While planting was the first step, we want to make sure these trees survive and thrive. We will be accepting donations from residents to “adopt a tree”. A $500 donation will pay for the care of 1 tree of your choice which will be marked on the tree itself with a Legacy Donation Marker.
Tree types include:
Southern Live Oak, Gumbo Limbo, Pigeon Plum, Silver Buttonwood, Orange Geiger, East Palatka Holly
Please contact SENA Board Member Tiffany Isaacs to discuss the specifics of a tree donation. tiffanyisaacs@gmail.com
